Digital Transformation: Safety, Security & Privacy

About the working group

The rapid advance of digitalisation increasingly concerns key technical and administrative infrastructures, penetrating deep into economic and industrial processes and workflows, but also affecting people’s personal lives. Digitalisation will result in a transformation of society and pose new challenges to people’s individual autonomy. This development results in entirely new research areas in the information technology sciences, economics, social sciences, and law. The “Digital Transformation” working group was established to work on these topics from as many different scientific angles as possible, striving to arrive at a comprehensive view of the problems and risks associated with digitalisation, and ultimately contributing to their solution.
